Zimbabwe is now in a scary place because there is a big fight for power inside ZANU PF. This fight is getting worse every day. It started after Robert Mugabe was removed in 2017. Since then, President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy, Constantino Chiwenga, have been in a silent but very dangerous battle for control of the country.

Mnangagwa became president after Mugabe. But Chiwenga and the people who support him now want him out. The fight between the two men is no longer hidden. It is strong, loud, and now very violent. War veterans led by Blessed Geza are telling Mnangagwa to step down. They say he is corrupt and does not know how to lead. They say he has failed the country and must leave before things get worse.

Chiwenga has also been speaking in ways that show he is not happy with Mnangagwa. He talks about corruption as a threat to the country. Many people believe he is attacking Mnangagwa without saying his name. The tension between them is now very high. It feels like the power struggle has reached a dangerous point.

Last night something shocking happened. Business places linked to Mnangagwa’s allies were firebombed. Cars were burnt as a warning. The targets included Kuda Tagwirei, Wicknell Chivayo, Tino Machakaire, and John Mangudya. This shows that the fight inside ZANU PF is now very serious and very deadly.

Wicknell Chivayo also faced something scary recently. His in-laws were robbed at gunpoint. The robbers took almost US$75,000, part of the US$125,000 he paid as lobola for his wife. People say this was a warning to him because he is close to Mnangagwa. Many people see Chivayo as a symbol of corruption under Mnangagwa’s rule. The attack was violent, shocking, and full of mystery.

Insiders say these attacks are not random. They are messages to scare Mnangagwa’s people. There are also reports of strange break-ins and threats. It is clear that the power fight in ZANU PF is becoming more dangerous each day.

The battle between Mnangagwa and Chiwenga is now tearing the party apart. As both sides try to win, many Zimbabweans fear what will happen to the country. People are scared that this fight will bring more violence and destroy whatever peace is left.

It is also clear that Mnangagwa is losing support. Many people who once defended him now say he must go. Chiwenga’s camp is getting stronger as more people become tired of Mnangagwa’s failure to lead.

Zimbabweans are now worried about the future. The firebombing incident has shocked the whole country. It shows that the power struggle is now deadly. The fear of more violence is growing.

Mnangagwa’s future is now not certain. Chiwenga is pushing hard, and ZANU PF is more divided than before. Many people fear that bloodshed may come if this war continues.

Zimbabwe now waits to see what will happen next. Will Mnangagwa stay, or will Chiwenga take over? Whatever happens, the future of the country will be shaped by this dangerous fight for power.
